What is Ultrasound Technology?
- 2D Ultrasound -During a 2D ultrasound the technologist may visualize images made up of a series of thin images or slices with only one slice being visible at a time to create a flat looking picture of the baby.
- 3D Ultrasound- During a 3D ultrasound thousands of sliced images called a volume of echoes are digitally stored to produce a 3 dimensional image which shows the outer surface of the baby demonstrating a life-like image.
- 4D Ultrasound– is basically a 3D image in motion.
About The Ultrasound Session
When is the optimum time in my pregnancy to come in for an ultrasound?
Between 27 to 34 weeks for the 4D session. We can examine more detail after about 27 weeks, however you may come as early as 14 weeks.
Is there a prep for my 4D Ultrasound appointment?
Please drink plenty of water several days before your appointment to enhance the image. You DO NOT need a full bladder the day of your appointment. Learn more at **Ultrasound Tips***
How long are my appointments?
The gender determination is 10 minutes and the 4D session is 20-25 minutes (DVD consist of video clips and varies in length).
Will I receive everything included in my session on the same day?
Yes. If your session includes photos, a Photo Gallery App or DVD you will receive the items after your session. Baby shower invites are received upon request.* *Learn More**
How early can you determine the gender?
We may provide a gender determination as early as 7 weeks with DNA testing and 16 weeks with ultrasound. On occasion we may see gender as early as 14 weeks during a 4D ultrasound but this is not guaranteed.
Is the gender included in the 4D session?
Yes. We may provide the gender if it is visible during the session. Please note: The best time to see the gender of your baby on ultrasound is 16 weeks or more in your pregnancy and is not guaranteed sooner than this time.

What days can I schedule the SneakPeek Clinical DNA blood gender reveal?
You may schedule an appointment on Tuesdays through Saturday! Online booking is also available. ******Please Note: Children and males are not allowed to accompany you during DNA testing.
Do I need proof that I am seeing a doctor for the SneakPeek Clinical test?
No. Our SneakPeek Clinical DNA gender reveal test is the only service that we provide that does not require you to be under a doctors care, have a doctors note or proof of prenatal care.
How does the SneekPeek Clinical DNA process work the day of my appointment?
We now offer a pain-less method for taking your blood sample. Our on-site phlebotomist takes a small painless blood sample and then returns the sample to Labs for processing. The laboratories offer the fastest turnaround times in the industry.
How many weeks should I be for the SneakPeek Clinical gender reveal?
You must be at least 7 weeks pregnant.

Scheduling Your Appointment
How can I schedule or reschedule my appointment?
Do I need to confirm my appointment?
Be sure to confirm your appointment when prompted to avoid automatic cancellation due to non-confirmation. Be advised to arrive 5 minutes early with your proof of prenatal care and ID. If you are more than 10 minutes late you may need to reschedule due to our full schedule. If you need to reschedule your appointment please notify us a day in advance. Note**** that no show appointments will be charged a reschedule fee.
I will be late for my appointment, will I need to reschedule?
In most cases where you are over 10 minutes late you will be asked to reschedule your appointment to avoid the overall appointment delays for that particular day.
Can I bring family or young children to my appointment?
You are allowd to bring 4 people to your appointment.** Please visit our updated Covid Policy for our visitors.
I forgot about my appointment date and did not cancel. Can I reschedule?
Yes. Our office sends confirmations via text or phone reminder, but if you forget about your appointment you may reschedule. A $15 reschedule fee will apply to your visit if your appointment was not cancelled or rescheduled a day in advance.
What type of payments do you accept?
We currently accept all major credit cards and most (Health Savings Account) HSA cards. As of August 1st 2020 our facility is a cash-less office and you must bring a credit or debit cards for payments. We do not accept cash payments, insurance, or medicaid.
